Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using nextreadonme.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Next Read On Me. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these terms with you. By using the Service you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens on your account. One account per person, please. Notify us immediately at hello@nextreadonme.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law, harass other users, scrape data, reverse-engineer our systems, upload malicious content, or impersonate anyone. Don't attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the AI recommendations. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
User content
You own the reviews, ratings, notes, and other content you contribute to the Service. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share that content as part of running the Service (for example, showing your public review on your profile or to friends you've connected with). You can delete your content at any time, which terminates that license going forward.
AI-generated recommendations
Book recommendations on Next Read On Me are generated by an AI model based on the reading data you provide. Recommendations are for personal entertainment only and are not professional, editorial, educational, medical, legal, or financial advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any recommendation. Always use your own judgment when choosing what to read.
Affiliate links
We include affiliate links to Bookshop.org and may earn a small commission when you purchase books through them. This is at no extra cost to you and helps support the Service. We recommend books based on fit, not commission.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, misuse the Service, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Next Read On Me and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for most users, is zero).
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service occasionally. When we make material changes, we will post the updated terms here and update the "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
